I’d just like to tell you about the exciting news that Grapevine has been given the opportunity to buy the house, garage and garden behind the church on the right-hand side. It’s a truly amazing and generous offer, which the trustees have accepted! The purchase is now underway.

The property is outlined in blue on the map. (Grapevine was formerly a Methodist Chapel). For years we’ve been praying for more space and the Lord has provided. What a blessing! Just think about what we will be able to do for the church and community outreach work. We have many possibilities to explore. We’ll have much more storage capacity, some extra rooms and plenty of outside social space.

Currently we have financial reserves which we can use towards the majority of purchase. However, we are short of the final total required for completing. We estimate this to be around the £15000 mark.

I know how generous you all are, so I send this with a little hesitation. We’re asking anyone who wishes to consider making a donation, however small, towards this shortfall in the purchase price. Thanks so much to those who have already declared their interest.
